Fire Rated Vision Frames
Metal Fire Rated Vision Frames for Fire Rated solid core wood or hollow metal fire doors are available with any Impact Resistant Fire Rated Safety Glass products that we offer, such as: FireLite-NT(Filmed), FireLite+Plus (Laminated), WireLite-NT (Filmed), FireGlass 20 (Clear Tempered), Pilkington Pyrostop (Multi-Laminated) and any of our Fire Rated Insulated Safety Glass Units. Let us know your required fire rating and door cutout size and we will assist with meeting the project requirements.
These assemblies are Impact Resistant in compliance with IBC 2406 "Safety Glazing" meeting ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Cat II.
These assemblies also naturally provide additional acoustical STC values, particularly higher in the Insulated Fire Glass Units.
These frames are only offered as a kit package in combination with any of our supplied fire glass products and approved fire tape.
*It is customer's responsibility to verify project Fire Rating requirements and confirm the door is also tested and approved to the same rating and to receive vision frame cut out sizes.
