Fire Rated Window Frame

Fire Rated Hollow Metal Window Frames for walls are available, with any "approved for windows occurring in walls" Fire Rated Glass product we offer such as: 3/16" FireLite, 3/16" FireLite-NT (Filmed), 5/16" FireLite+Plus (Laminated), WireLite-NT (Filmed) in Diamond Pattern, and Pilkington Pyrostop (Multi-Laminated) and in Fire Rated Insulated Glass Unit assemblies.

These Fire Rated Glass options all meet the required HoseStream test.

Windows occurring within 24" of a door opening are required to be Impact Resistant in compliance with IBC 2406 "Safety Glazing" meeting ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Cat II.

Available Fire Ratings are: 45, 60 , 90 and 120 minute, with tested size restriction limits , see rating size charts for additional information.

These frames are only offered in combination with any of our supplied fire glass products.

*It is customer's responsibility to verify project Fire Rating requirements and confirm the door is also tested and approved to the same rating and to receive vision frame cut out sizes.

Other additional Fire Rated Vision Frame options are: X-Ray IGU with Lead Lined Vision Frame for Medical Imaging Radiation Shielding applications, and in Bullet Resistant UL 752 Level 3, resisting Handgun threats up to .44 Mag. located in Interior/Interior applications.
